How to get to Stella d'Italia
By Air. We are located about 6 km from Amerigo Vespucci AIRPORT in Florence. There are shuttle buses into downtown, a direct tramline (linea 2) or take a taxi directly to the hotel for about 25 euros. There are also flights that arrive at the Galileo Galilei AIRPORT in Pisa.
By Car. Being so centrally located we do not have our own private garage, but we can reserve a space at one of the garages near the hotel for you. Contact us for more details and information. That way you can avoid paying the fine for illegally entering the city centre (ZTL) without a permit. Just advise us of your arrival time and we will make the arrangements.
By Train. If you arrive at the Santa Maria Novella TRAIN station – a rationalist architectural jewel – you are less than 1 km from the hotel, so 5 minutes in a taxi or a 13 minute walk.
